There are some tender moments here but I have to say this at the risk of upsetting folks who feel differently - cats are predators of squirrels, natural enemies, and I just hope that this pairing of the two (which obviously provided life saving nourishment to the fragile baby, who now looks super) doesn’t end up costing the squirrel’s life later on when he thinks all cats are friendly. I know this was a well-intentioned pairing but I do hope and pray there will be a happy and safe ending, all around.
