Will you be mine,
asks the chocolate candy frog,
bulbous body
teetering on feet
melted into their
milk chocolate base.
The frog’s cute,
but too alluring,
so I bite into his head,
revealing the empty space,
inside tasty carapace.
This poem is my response to the Totally Optional Prompt’s suggestion to write “romance.”
ah,… yet another “chemical romancer” in the bunch……. very nicely done…

Hee! That’s wonderful! Chocolate always manages to romance me, that’s for sure.

Yeah, I’ve been told there’s an empty space inside my head too!
