My second session with the personal trainer was much less stressful than the first one.

 

Sure, my arms and legs still quivered as I went through my moves. But the moves felt less alien. And they were a teeny bit easier than one week ago.

 

In fact, I even felt pleasure during one part of the workout. This week my trainer, whom I’ll call Abby, helped me stretch out at the end of our session. It felt great when she gently tilted, then held my head to the side. A knot in my muscles dissipated.

 

My next challenge is to try going through my routine once on my own, before my appointment with Abby next Wednesday. She wrote out all the steps in my routine. Will I be able to interpret her instructions accurately?
