The trick to getting over your writer’s block could be something as simple as writing down one word or writing about how it feels not to be able to write.

Those are some of the tips on Scott Berkun’s post about “Writing Hacks.”

For me, it’s helpful to lower my standards when writing my first draft. I just need to get something down on paper — or in the electronic file — so I can go back to revise it.
